Jo Lee-Varley

Fee Earner, Conveyancing Department

Jo Lee-Varley is a Fee Earner in our Conveyancing Department. She has been with the firm since January 1996 and brings over three decades of experience to her role, helping clients with all aspects of residential conveyancing.

Before joining Phillips Solicitors, Jo gained experience working at a number of solicitors’ firms, primarily within conveyancing. Her legal background is particularly broad, having also worked in Crown Court clerking, Family Law, and Wills & Probate. Prior to joining the firm, she spent six years working within the Magistrates’ Courts in Nottingham and Mansfield, giving her a valuable understanding of the legal system from a different perspective.

Jo holds Paralegal Associate and Fellow qualifications, achieved in 1997 and 1998. Throughout her long career, she has continued to build extensive practical knowledge and experience, particularly in residential conveyancing, which remains her principal area of work and interest.

Having worked in conveyancing for many years, Jo has assisted countless clients with property transactions and understands the importance of clear communication, attention to detail and proactive support throughout the process. She appreciates that buying or selling a home is one of the most significant transactions many people will undertake and aims to help make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

What Jo enjoys most about her role is the one-to-one interaction with clients and the opportunity to work closely with other professionals involved in a transaction. She values building strong working relationships and takes pride in providing a friendly and approachable service, helping clients feel informed and supported from instruction through to completion.

Having been part of Phillips Solicitors since 1996, Jo has witnessed the continued growth and development of the firm while remaining committed to delivering the personal service that clients value.
