Paralegal and Accredited Police Station Representative, Wills & Probate Department

Isbah Mehraj is a Paralegal within the Wills & Probate department and also an Accredited Police Station Representative. She assists clients with a range of private client matters while bringing a broad range of experience and strong client care skills to her role.

Isbah joined Phillips Solicitors in May 2024, having initially come to the firm on a work experience placement. Her enthusiasm, commitment and client-focused approach led to her being offered a permanent position, and she has continued to develop her career within the firm ever since.

Isbah holds an LLB, completed in 2017, followed by an LLM in 2019 and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2021. Her academic background has provided a strong legal foundation which she continues to build upon through her work with clients.

Before joining Phillips Solicitors, Isbah gained experience in a variety of client-facing roles. These opportunities helped her develop excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of providing practical and tailored support to each individual client.

Working within the Wills & Probate Department, Isbah assists clients with matters relating to wills, estate administration and future planning. She enjoys working in an area of law that allows her to support people during important stages of their lives and help them make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

What Isbah enjoys most about her work is supporting people and building strong relationships with clients. She appreciates that every client has their own circumstances and concerns, and takes pride in offering an approachable, understanding and supportive service. She also enjoys the variety that comes with legal practice, where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to help others.

Outside of work, Isbah enjoys baking, gardening, DIY projects and relaxing with a good Netflix series. She enjoys keeping busy and bringing the same enthusiasm to her interests outside work as she does to her professional life.
